Used two of the 2350rpm versions of this fan to replace two Scythe Gentle Typhoons that had previously been push-pull cooling my CPU watercooling system's radiator. The Corsair's have higher throughput and cooling ability than the Scythes - and they themselves were no slouches (both of which I've anyway relocated within my PC's case to further improve cooling). Since installation I've been very pleased with the performance of the Corsairs; & would recommend them to anyone looking for a high performance PC case air-cooling solution.

These fans are awesome in performance and look really good too but they do have an Achilles heal in that most motherboards don't recognise the rpm's on the PWM models. There are work arounds though, I have mine joined and connected to the CPU/Opt fan header and the exhaust fan connected to the CPU fan header for the rpm readings and everything works fine. The only other option I can think of is using a fan controller which defeats the purpose of buying them as PWM fans.
This said however, for a high pressure fan of this quality at this price point it just it just cant be beaten.

After running the 2 stock fans on the H80 in push/pull and a stock 120mm Cooler Master fan for a few days I purchased these and a 120mm Zalman ZM-F3 Quiet Case Fan.
The noise had been pretty unbelievable even when the fans were turned down or I disconnected the case fan. The performance has increased and now the GTX 670 is the loudest part of the build at full load.
The reviews and benchmarks didn't look too dramatic in terms of performance improvements and the noise improvements should only have been good but I've found it to be pretty excellent to be honest.

Low air throughput, relatively noisy even at low RPMs
